SEMI-CONDUCTIVE WATERBLOCKING TAPES (single/double layer)

Introduction: It consists of semi-conductive polyester fiber nonwoven fabric, semi-conductive adhesive, high-speed expansion of water-absorbing resin composition

Characteristic: High temperature resistance, moisture absorption, high mechanical strength, small resistance, with semi-conductive properties, can effectively buffer, weaken the electric field strength

Application:

  • Used for MV,HV,EHV Power cable
  • Under neutral screen Wires & Tapes
  • Under Armoring Wires, under metallic tapes
  • Under radial water barriers (lead, cooper, steel, aluminum) jackets, under extruded sheaths

NON-CONDUCTIVE WATERBLOCKING TAPES (single/double layer)

Introduction: These Tapes are laminated by polyester non-woven fabric layer and super swelling water absorbent powder. Due to the high swelling speed and excellent swelling height, it can easily block water and moisture to protect cable.

Characteristic: Perfect surface, non-conductive, high strength, weather resistant

Application:

  • Used for general water blocking in power, cooper and fibre optic cables 
  • Used in power cables in the screen area over the open metal screen, or over concentricv neutrals, or under the radial water barriers, if no electrical contact is required with the metal scree
  • Used in communication cables as an alternative to flooding or filling compounds

NON-CONDUCTIVE WATERBLOCKING SWELLABLE TAPES (LAMINATED WITH PET FILM)

Introduction: Water swellable tapes rapidly absorb liquid at the point of insulation failure and quickly swell to block any further ingress. This ensures any cable damage is minimised, fully contained and is easy to locate and repair.

Characteristic: Non-conductive, good cushioning properties, rapid expansion, good seawater barrier

Application:

  • Used for cooper telephone cable core
  • Used for control cable core
  • Used for fibre optics cable core
  • To prevent compound intrusion
  • To prevent jelly migration

POLYESTER PET TAPE

Introduction: It adopts high-quality insulating PET film as the base material and slits into a strip.

WATERBLOCKING YARN

Introduction: It is a main body using polyester industrial filament and cross-linked polyacrylic acid expansion material composite, play a role in restricting the moisture into the cable internal high-tech products.

Characteristic: Anti-corrosion, heat-resistant, waterproof, fast swelling speed by water absorption, good chemical stability

Application:

  • Used for cable, fiber optic cable wrapping protection
  • On the outer wall of communication cables or optical fiber cables

Polypropylene (PP) Filler Yarn

Introduction: it is made of polypropylene, with high tensile strength and uniform distribution of net.

Characteristic: Soft, tensile, electric resistance, non-hygroscopic material, strength is not affected by water, good high-frequency insulation, non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

Application:

  • Used for non-hygroscopic filling of various wires and cables.
  • Enhanced impact and compression resistance of cables

FIBER GLASS YARN

Introduction: It is an inorganic non-metallic material with excellent performance and a wide range of types.

Characteristic: Good insulation, heat resistance, good corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength.

Application:

  • Used as electrical insulating material in cables
  • Used as filtering material, anticorrosive, moisture-proof, heat insulation, sound insulation, shock absorption material in industry

FOAMED POLYPROPYLENE TAPES

Introduction: is mainly processed by physical and mechanical foaming and is made of polypropylene, which is an extruded unidirectional stretch tape.

Characteristic: light weight, good longitudinal tensile, environmentally friendly. Has good heat resistance and can be used for more than 120℃

Application:

  • Used in cable and wire.
  • Used for wrapping and filling of communication cables and shielding layer, waterproof layer of multi-structure composite cables.
  • Used for forming the perfect shape on the cable.
  • Provided high voltage and electrical isolation characteristics.

COPPER POLYESTER TAPES

Introduction: it consists of a copper tape coated on single side with a special ethylene copolymer color-coded green.

Characteristic: The copper layer has excellent mechanical and shielding characteristics; the Mylar layer has excellent electric insulation characteristics , makes the tape softer to wrap.

  • used for the shielding layer of medium and high voltage cables

COPPER TAPES

Introduction: Copper tape is simply a thin strip of copper which is backed with an adhesive. It is a conductive material but is available in two common types, known as conductive and non-conductive.

Introduction: lt consists of an aluminum tape coated on one side or both sides with an adherent ethylene copolymer with clear or blue color.

Characteristic: Excellent adhesion to aluminum substrates, chemical resistance, and general LDPE characteristics

  • Used for the moisture barrier of cables
  • Used for the shielding layer of cables
  • Provides reliable chemical protection for the cable core

PHLOGOPITE MICA TAPES

Introduction: Phlogopite Mica Tape for fire-resistant cable is insulation material made of superior phlogopite mica paper, impregnated with high-quality silicon resin and backed with reinforcing material, which can resist high voltage and especially high temperature.
